At Boho Dog Rescue Ranch, our rescue partners pull dogs from high-kill shelters and give them a Freedom Ride to the ranch, where healing begins. Here, each pup gets the love, care, and time they need to recover and get ready for their forever home. You can be part of their journey — adopt, foster, sponsor, volunteer, or donate — and help give more dogs the second chance they deserve.
Why the Name Boho Dog?
The name Boho Dog was born from the spirit of freedom and adventure.
To us, dogs are the ultimate bohemians—free-spirited wanderers who run wild, follow their instincts, and live from the heart.
They remind us to embrace each day with joy, loyalty, and unconditional love.
The word Boho reflects the bohemian lifestyle: creativity, soulful living, and an untamed love of adventure. It speaks to being playful, authentic, and connected to something greater than ourselves.
Pairing it with Dog honors both our love for animals and the rescue mission at the core of our brand.
We believe every pup deserves to live free—not confined to shelter kennels waiting for a bleak fate, but running wild, cherished, and cared for.
