What if my pup has behavioral issues that show up after I bring them home?
It’s completely normal for rescue pups to reveal new behaviors once they feel safe enough to settle in. Remember — rescue is a journey, not a one-day transformation. With patience, structure, and love, most behaviors can be worked through. And you’re never doing this alone.

Why do rescue dogs sometimes struggle at first?
Many of our pups come from traumatic or unstable backgrounds — the streets, neglect, surrender, or overcrowded shelters. Their behavior isn’t “bad,” it’s protective. It’s the way they learned to survive. When we meet them with compassion, consistency, and understanding, they blossom into the loving companions they were always meant to be.

Will Boho Dog help me if challenges come up?
Absolutely. Once you adopt from Boho Dog, you’re part of our pack. We stay with you every step of the way with resources, training support, guidance, and problem-solving to help you and your pup succeed together. Our mission is not just to place dogs in homes — it’s to create forever families.
You can always request a trial “foster period” if you want to be sure the pup is the right fit for your home and lifestyle. We believe in setting both our dogs and our adopters up for success — no pressure, no guilt, just what’s best for everyone involved. And if at any point during the foster period or after adoption you feel the pup isn’t the right match, we will gladly welcome them back to the Boho Dog Rescue Ranch. Our only goal is to create happy, stable, forever families, and we’re here to support you every step of the way. 🐾💛
Every Boho Dog pup receives a full vet wellness check before adoption, along with vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, and any medical care needed to begin their new life healthy and strong.
When necessary, we also arrange and cover the cost of spay or neuter to ensure each dog is safe and protected. Your adoption fee covers all of these essentials, helping us give every rescue pup the best possible start — cared for, loved, and ready to thrive in their forever home. 🐾💛
